Buzzworthy - The Fly remake? Again?

Allegedly David Cronenberg is in talks to remake The Fly.

Okay, a recent post of mine was about remakes. But Cronenberg's 1986 The Fly was a remake of 1958s The Fly...why should we have yet another one?!

Surely Hollywood has some fresh ideas...somewhere?!
