Independence Day was a smasher, so we're excited about Independence Day: Resurgence which hits UK cinema screens this 23 June. The strong cast includes Liam Hemsworth, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Maika Monroe, with Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch and Jeff Goldblum returning. Sadly no Will Smith though.

The next chapter promises those pesky aliens destroying LOTS OF STUFF on a global scale. Yep, that's London. Ouch.
